X7043ASun Ultra 5V Memory 128 MB Memory Expansion (2 x 64 MB DIMMs) The X7043A fits in the systems below. Each of the system has it own configuration parameters that need to be looked up before installation. To buy this part please check our memory section.
Ultra 60 Memory Configuration
The Ultra 60 has 16 Dimm Slots, 4 of which make one Bank. 2 Pairs of DIMMs must be installed in each Bank. Generally the slowest memory determines the speed of the memory subsytem.
Ultra 80 Memory Configuration
The Ultra 80 has 16 Dimm Slots, 4 of which make one Bank. 2 Pairs of DIMMs must be installed in each Bank. The DIMMs have to be installed 2 on the system board and 2 on the riser. To avoid damage, remove the Riser before installing DIMMs on it.
Enterprise 420R Memory Configuration
The Sun Enterprise 420R server supports up to 4 GB of 60ns, 5volt, dynamic RAM memory. Memory is organized into four banks of four DIMMs. DIMMs must be installed in sets of four identical DIMMs.
Enterprise 450 Memory Configuration
The Sun Enterprise 450 server supports up to 4 GB of RAM memory. Memory is organized into two banks of eight DIMMs. DIMMs must be installed in sets of eight identical DIMMs. Best performance is achieved when organized with 8 or 16 identical DIMMs. |
