X7038A256 MB (2 x 128MB DIMMs) 50ns DRAM expansion memory The X7038A fits in the systems below. Each of the system has it own configuration parameters that need to be looked up before installation. To buy this part please check our memory section.
Ultra 5 Memory Configuration
The Ultra 5 has 4 Dimm Slots, 2 of which make one Bank. Pairs of DIMMs must be installed in each Bank. Avoid buying the 16MB as they will not work with the larger memory. Generally the slowest memory determines the speed of the memory subsytem.
Ultra 10 Memory Configuration
The Ultra 10 has 4 Dimm Slots, 2 of which make one Bank. Pairs of DIMMs must be installed in each Bank. Avoid buying the 16MB as they will not work with the larger memory. Generally the slowest memory determines the speed of the memory subsytem. |
