512 MB Memory Expansion (2 x 256 MB DIMMs) for Ultra 80, Enterprise 220R, Enterprise 420R and Enterprise 450.

Ultra 80 Memory Configuration

Maximum Memory	: 4 GB

The Ultra 80 has 16 Dimm Slots, 4 of which make one Bank. 2 Pairs of DIMMs must be installed in each Bank. The DIMMs have to be installed 2 on the system board and 2 on the riser.
To avoid damage, remove the Riser before installing DIMMs on it.

Enterprise 220R Memory Configuration

The Enterprise 220R has 16 Dimm Slots, 4 of which make one Bank. The DIMMs used by the Sun Enterprise 220R server are the same as those used in the Sun Enterprise 2, 250, and 450 workgroup server products. Memory is organized into four banks of four DIMMs. DIMMs must be installed in sets of four identical DIMMs. Kits are sold in pairs.

Enterprise 420R Memory Configuration

The Sun Enterprise 420R server supports up to 4 GB of 60­ns, 5­volt, dynamic RAM memory. Memory is organized into four banks of four DIMMs. DIMMs must be installed in sets of four identical DIMMs.

The Sun Enterprise 450 server supports up to 4 GB of RAM memory. Memory is organized into two banks of eight DIMMs. DIMMs must be installed in sets of eight identical DIMMs. Best performance is achieved when organized with 8 or 16 identical DIMMs.
